These images were taken on our family holiday to the Greek island of Kefalonia in the summer of 2019. For me, these images documented the trip in a more abstract view that shows only small elements of the places we visited, rather than the standard tourist-y pictures; the first image is of the souvenir shop that sat beside one of the many caves of the island, and the image of legs is actually of my brother sat on a wall by a cliff that overlooked a beautiful beach. These pictures to me show a more personal experience of the trip and how it felt, bright and vibrant, rather than just showing the destination itself.
These two images are of my dad and my brother from when we took a trip to Cockermouth, an ancient market town in Cumbria. The images show the serenity and calm feeling that being in the country often gives me; the ambiguity of them is open to interpretation and can tell a different story depending on how they are perceived.
