A way out
This is a mini-series documenting my trip to Dubai last summer. The main theme behind these images was escapism, at that time in my life there were a lot of things I wanted to run from, and I found refuge in the images I took. Dubai is known for its towering skyscrapers and its luxurious lifestyle, however, I decided to look at it from a different angle. I aimed to take photos of things that you wouldn't usually expect to see from Dubai such as interesting architecture and nature. Furthermore, by bringing out the pastel colours within each image I attempted to achieve a balanced blend of reality and dreams to further add to the theme. Thanks for reading.
